Meet Blake Croft



Just who is Blake Croft? I decided the other day (7/11/13) that I wanted to completely redo my profile. I was so tired of the generic mumbo jumbo that didn't really describe any part of who I was! I wanted to give people information about me that while including the basics, also digs a little deeper into who I am as a person. So...here goes!
  • My name is Blake Alexander Croft. 
  • I've always wanted to be named Alexander Blake Croft so that my initials could be ABC! LOL! 
  • I am married to a wonderful woman by the name of Harley. 
  • I'm an only child although I have 4 step-siblings. 
  • I live in Tennessee. 
  • I have been a Christian for over 14 years. 
  • I have been in ministry for over 4 years. 
  • I am the founder of an online ministry called Born Again Ministry (http://bornagainonline.net) 
  • I love to write, BUT only when inspired. Something really has to strike my spirit for me to write. 
  • I blog personally at http://www.BlakeCroft.com.
  • I used to pretend to be a Sunday School teacher as a child. Fake podium and all. Stolen teachers literature and all. :/ :P 
  • I have AT LEAST over 40 Bibles (I'm a Bible FANATIC) 
  • I like to sniff Bibles. I'm not afraid to admit that Bibles are the best smelling book on planet Earth. 
  • I am Assistant Manager of our town's Piggly Wiggly. 
  • I could probably eat Mexican food every day of my life! 
  • I LOVE people! They make me smile, cry, laugh, hit things, yell, and scream, but my life would not function if I didn't have people. 
  • I enjoy helping others with problems they may be facing, especially those problems that I may have experienced in the past. 
  • I expect others to listen to my advice because of the above statement. 
  • I see myself as being a leader NOT a follower! 
  • I tend to shy away from conflict. It makes me uncomfortable. 
  • My Myers-Briggs personality type (MBTI) is — INFJ.
  • I'm am an ambivert, but more on the introvert side. 
  • I enjoy music and singing. My wife tells me I'm talented, but that's for others to decide. 
  • I desire to be GREAT in this life, yet I am content where I am until God is ready to promote. 
  • I desire to have a GREAT career doing EXACTLY what I love! 
  • I dream, but am also a realist. 
  • I want to be the best husband that Jesus can help me be! 
  • I dream of being a great daddy one day. 
  • I enjoy technology and social media. If it's nerdy, I'm in! 
  • I'm the most disorganized, organized person you'll ever meet...meaning I love organization but don't always get around to doing it. 
  • Most importantly, I love Jesus Christ and what He did for me on the cross of Calvary. I don't deserve such Grace and Mercy, yet He freely gave it all even His own life! I want to do EVERYTHING in my power to serve him to the BEST of my ability. 
I hope that gives you a better idea of who Blake Croft is. Now the most important question is, just exactly WHO are YOU?

Just who are YOU? I'm looking to connect with all sorts of people. If I were to be specific and honest, I'd like to meet someone with the following characteristics:
  • Someone who is in their 20s to 30s 
  • Someone who loves Jesus Christ 
  • Someone who loves to write or blog 
  • Someone who loves to work with youth in youth ministry 
  • Someone who enjoys the Word of God 
  • Someone who loves music and perhaps can even sing 
  • Someone who LOVES people 
  • Someone who loves the art of building relationships 
  • Someone who loves the art of understanding people and how they work 
  • Someone who can help me excel in life and my dreams 
  • Someone who can be an encouragement through every period of life, good or bad 
  • Someone who enjoys to chat about the latest and greatest in technology and social media 
  • Someone who wants to be known and build lasting REAL-LIFE relationships 
  • Someone who is open to new thoughts and ideas about themselves, or life in general 
  • Someone who will NOT attempt to conform who I am into how they think I should be. I'LL be ME and YOU be YOU!
